Over 90% of our business is generated through referral or repeat clientele; we take a great deal of pride in this and we believe it speaks to the honest and collaborative approach we bring to the construction process. Construction undertakings are not done in a vacuum. They require the orchestration and communication of hundreds of moving parts and many different sub-trades and consultants. This work needs to be run directly by professionals that have a balance of applicable field experience and a keen practical understanding of construction management and cost controls. By being selective with our project involvement and keeping our company free of overly burdensome layers of corporate management structure we are able to bring a transparent and accessible approach to every project, while maintaining the necessary management and safety controls to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

While we engage in many different projects and contract types, our preferred mode of doing business is on a negotiated basis. This relationship allows us to be involved from the outset of the project to fully understand the needs of our clients, while also offering cost and constructability analysis throughout the design process

OUR HISTORY

Arnt Blindheim founded Blindheim Company in 1975. The company quickly developed a niche in the Seattle area as a general contractor specializing in new residential construction and remodel as well as restaurant construction and renovation. In 2000, after six successful years managing his own firm, the Aspen Company, Victor Blindheim returned to the family business. With him he brought a strong client base and a reputation parallel to that of Blindheim Company. Around this same time, Arnts nephew- Alex Abdo joined Blindheim Company as a an apprentice carpenter. After 8 years in the field and a construction management degree from the University of Washington, Alex started to transition into an estimating and project management role.  Today, with Victor serving as President and Alex as Vice President they remain focused on serving clients that value professional and reputable builders and partners
